Baseplate: Stage 11 Duraflex ST

By removing excess material in the toe and heel of the baseplate, and utilizing a brand new asymmetrical shape, we've been able to drastically increase the torsional flex of the binding. The Ultra's Stage 11 ASYM baseplate allows for 360 degree board flex and feel.

Bushing: Moleculer Bushing w/ TPE Outsole

Union's Molecular bushing provides spring-loaded take offs and perfectly cushioned landings. 15% lighter than Union Fused Vaporite and guaranteed to minimize foot, ankle and knee fatigue. This is the future of freestyle binding design.
Exclusive to Union, this 100% new binding manufacturing process requires zero bushing gluing and adds another layer of dampening and vibration canceling material to the Ultra.

Heelcup: Extruded 3D Aluminum w/ Astro Washer

Union's Astro ankle washer adds another level of confidence and security to your riding. Prevents heelcup slippage on binding models that only feature a single heelcup screw.

Highback: S15 Ultra Duraflex ST

6 degrees of preloaded forward lean hugs your boot and allows for quick edge to edge response. While the all new molecular highback bushing provides increased freestyle flex and rebound while riding. This unique highback construction is exclusive to Union Binding Company.

Ankle Strap: Hybrid 1.0

Instant response meets all day long foot comfort. The Hybrid 1.0 ankle strap's construction combines our responsive Exoframe exterior with the padded comfort and flexibility of the Forma interior. Form fits perfectly to any boot on the market.

Toe Strap: TS 5.0 Ultragrip

Multi-Positional options and thermoplastic anti-slip material keep you locked in and on point. The TS 5.0 Ultragrip toe strap is compatible with all boot brands and models.

Ratchet: Magnesium S1 w/ Steel Base

Magnesium S1 ratchets are Union’s answer to the elements. A fully integrated spring protected from the harsh outside provides you with Union’s best ratchet to date. Longer life span and better spring return guaranteed.
