HIGHBACK:
EXP4 Highback
Designed for longer tours and bigger backcountry lines. The EXP4 highback features 15% more fiberglass than our standard EXP3 Duraflex highback. This stiffer new asymmetrical highback shape offers more support on long traverses and quicker edge to edge power for the ride down.
STRAPS:
Exoframe 5.0 Ankle Strap
The Exoframe 5.0 ankle strap utilizes tri-axial progressive flex for the perfect boot to binding fit and instant power and response when you’re ready to lay down a hard charging, high speed carve. Easily adjust your ankle strap to any boot with the quick snap of the pin adjustment, no tools needed.
TS 4.0+ Toe Strap
TS 4.0+ toe straps keep you locked in for the ride down without letting you know they're there. A new shorter buckle base helps to reduce weight and pressure points. Easily adjust to any boot with the quick turn of a tool-less adjuster.
Magnesium S1 Ratchets
Magnesium S1 ratchets are Union’s answer to the elements. A fully integrated spring protected from the harsh outside provides you with Union’s best ratchet to date. Longer life span and better spring return guaranteed.
Charger Split Disk
With zero room for a pin a in the center of the disk, the Charger split disk connection is now stronger than ever. A small notch in the rear split disk allows for the Chargers easy to use lever to lock you into place.
Step 1
Pull the lever up in the rear baseplate and position the baseplate over the disk at a 90* angle, the lever should align with with the two reference points on the disk. Push the baseplate down onto the disk.
Step 2
Turn the baseplate counterclockwise until it stops.The bindings rotatoin will help to pull the two halves of the splitboard together allowing for the best possible splitboard connection.
Step 3
Push the lever down to lock the binding into place. You're now ready to strap in and enjoy the ride down.
Charger Touring Bracket
No pins needed. The Charger Touring Bracket is the future of Union Binding splitboard technology. Simple, easy to use, and incredibly light weight.
Step 1
Turn the baseplate vertical and align it with the bracket tips.
Step 2
Slide the baseplate inwards until you feel it stop. Be sure to push the baseplate fully into place before pushing down. The baseplate will only release at a full 90* angle.
Step 3
You're now ready to tour. For help on steep climbs, flip down the heel riser underneath the baseplate and lock securely into place.
