Anyone who has surfed ‘The Pass’ in Byron Bay knows how important speed and pivot are in a board. There are days when the walls are speedy and days when endless cutbacks are required; depending on swell direction.

Maybe it's long fast lefts at ’Tallows’, or maybe ‘Wategos’ is on with its peaky walls and local lineup of dolphins... When you're riding the Byron Twin, laying into some vertical climbs or big whooping roundhouse turns is child’s play.

Soul surfing, long free flowing cut backs, power bottom turns and all around good fun, the Forries single is sure to leave plenty of smiles on faces. Aptly named and inspired by our local break of Forresters Beach, well known for solid “Lefts”, punchy “Banzai” and big “Rights” when it’s on. 

The board features a more retro outline with the wide point forward of centre and nice rail lines into a double winged round tail. 

It has a relaxed rocker for speed but enough nose kick to take drops and power of the bottom. Shaped with a single entry concave blending into channels out the tail for good lift, speed and security in turns. 

The board has good volume with a nice amount of foam under the chest, medium rails and an 80’s beaked nose.
