Bryan Fox and Thomas Delago have been working on the perfect splitboard for the Quiver Series for years, and now the new Slash Split is finally here. The time-proven Tapered Directional Slash shape, and wider width offers a float so smooth you will feel 20 pounds lighter, while the Trüe Camber and Powercore II give you the stability and response you need for first descents. Setting the skin track to new zones and transitioning at the summit will be a breeze with the Nitro Tip and Tail Locks, Forged T7075 Aluminium Hooks, and Pre-Drilled Skin Holes for the custom Nitro x Kohla skins. The Jones Dream Weaver Split is the new name for the Dream Catcher Split. It is a high-performance split board with a friendly flex. The Jones Dream Weaver’s Directional shape and Directional Rocker profile provide confident stability riding through soft or rough snow. On icy skin tracks or firm descents, the Inner/Outer Traction Tech 1.0 edges offer enhanced edge grip. The Jones Dream Weaver Split is built with premium materials including a super fast and durable Sintered 8000 base, an Eco-plastic top sheet and a Classic Core that is specially profiled for added pop. For rock-solid board connection in ride mode, the Dream Weaver Split comes with screw mounted Karakoram tip + tail clips and Karakoram Ultra Clips 1.0 split clips.

New for 2023 - Boltless Bridge

The Boltless Bridge eliminates split clip attachment hardware from the base of the board by re-profiling the wood core at the clips. The wood core under the clips is thicker providing better torsional stiffness and a more powerful connection at the split clips.

Camber:

Directional Rocker - A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker then tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tip floats the board’s nose and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly rockered tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.

Base: 

Sintered 8000 Base - New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. Base is easily repairable, highly wax absorbent and wicked fast.

Flip-Flop Base - Producing two or more base color options minimizes p-tex waste. Order may be filled with either color. Color does not vary by size.

Core: 

Classic Core - Full wood premium poplar core than offers fun pop, even flex and solid durability.

V-Core - Jones exclusive wood core profiling that offers a stable and playful board feel. The wood core is softer between the feet for easy turn initiation and stiffer in the nose and tail for stability riding through uneven terrain and landing airs.

Eco-plastic topsheet - Bio-plastic topsheet made from Castor beans. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to topsheet).

Biax fiberglass - A dual-direction, dual-layer, stitched fiberglass laminate that provides a fun, forgiving and snappy ride.

Bio Resin - Bio Resin is a bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon instead of petroleum-based carbon. The organic raw materials used to make bio-resin are co-products or waste products of plant-based industrial processes. Bio-resin requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions to produce than conventional epoxy.

Oversized recycled edges - All Jones boards are made with oversized recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability.

Recycled ABS Sidewalls - ABS Plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. We improve the sustainability of our snowboards by using only recycled plastic.

Factory Tuned - All Jones Snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.

Forever Flex - Forever Flex is a new manufacturing process that helps stabilise the flex and rocker of a board for its lifetime.

Traction Tech 2.0 - Like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Traction Tech improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board.

Inner edge Traction Tech - Inner edge Traction Tech improves splitboard edge grip on ascent. Three sidecut bumps on each side of your binding keep your locked in on icy skin tracks no matter which way you are traversing.

Progressive sidecut - At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.

Quick Tension Tail Clip - Built-in climbing skin tension system using pre-cut notch that eliminates the need for a traditional skin tail clip.

Blunt Nose

Digital/analog combo device with three antennas. The new Barryvox® S has a large receiving bandwidth and an effective search strip width of 70 meters. It offers users a large, simple interface and intuitive operation. The Smart Search function provides clear instructions thanks to a simple operating concept and quick, precise searching. The Barryvox® S includes the Rescue SEND function to protect non-searching rescuers. In the event of a secondary avalanche, the device automatically switches to SEND in order to locate buried rescuers. The Barryvox® S is also equipped with a Smart Search function, which interacts with the actions of searching rescuers.

3D Base Contour 3.0

A freeride focused 3D base contour featuring an even balance of 7mm of bevel in the nose and tail. Spoon makes the base roll through turns instead of landing flat, making your turns smoother and more natural.

The FSC Ultra Core is a dual density premium wood core made from Paulownia wood with specially positioned Poplar stringers for extra durability and turn power.

Forever Flex -  Jones boards now are finished slightly overbuilt and are broken in using specialised machinery that mimics riding use. This flexes the fibers and epoxy and allows them to settle into their final state, similar to riding the boards for 20 days. This provides a much more accurate flex rating.

Makes it easier to search for buried subjects: the Probe 240 short is a stable, lightweight avalanche probe made of high-quality aluminum with integrated telescopic locking for quick operation.
